These include the lack of standardized recycling facilities, high energy consumption, and the need for more efficient separation techniques. To address these challenges, researchers are exploring new recycling methods, such as the use of 3D printing technology to create complex geometries for material separation. Additionally, governments and companies are investing in closed-loop recycling systems, where LiFePO4 batteries are designed to be recycled at the end of their life and reused in new products.
