Material Selection and Reinforcement

To ensure the stock’s structural integrity and durability, manufacturers may select different types of carbon fiber materials and reinforcement techniques. For example, a stock designed for a .30-06 caliber may require a heavier gauge of carbon fiber to withstand the recoil, while a stock for a .223 caliber may be able to use a lighter gauge.
