Understanding Ptarmigan Migration and Habitat Patterns

Ptarmigan are highly adaptable birds that migrate to higher elevations in the summer and lower elevations in the winter, following the availability of food and suitable habitat. As a hunter, it’s essential to be aware of the specific elevation ranges that ptarmigan occupy during the different seasons.
