A levelled area is also necessary for proper combustion air intake and chimney venting. Consider a spot that’s at least 20 feet away from any combustible materials, such as wood or dry leaves, and within 10 feet of a water source for easy maintenance.

Slope-Specific Installation Tips

To ensure a stable and secure installation on a slope, use a foundation that can withstand the additional stress. A concrete slab or a reinforced pad is recommended.
